Cosmos:Cosmopapy

From Cosmos

Cosmopapy means Cosmos Papyrus. The plural is Cosmopapys. The word was coined by User:NSK Nikolaos S. Karastathis on 24 January 2008 at 06:37 UTC+02.

Cosmopapy tries to emulate an academic open-access journal. CosmosWiki can contain many cosmopapys.

Cosmopapy features a peer-review system. See Cosmos:Peer-review.

Authors cannot submit their papers directly to a cosmopapy. They must first self-publish their papers on the CosmosWiki (the community). After the paper is already self-published, the authors can submit it for formal peer-review to one cosmopapy of their choice.

Cosmopapy editors and reviewers will decide on whether to accept a paper, and accepted papers will be featured in the cosmopapy's wiki pages.

In the long future perhaps we will be able to publish paper printed cosmopapys. Until then, everything will be done here.
