Cosmosymp means Cosmos Symposium.

The plural is cosmosymps or cosmosympia (cosmos symposia).

In cosmosymps Cosmos members gather together at a specified place, either in real life or on the Internet (eg a chatroom), in order to have discussions of both academic and everyday nature and have lots of fun.

In cosmosymps organised in a physical place, it would be normal to expect food and drink to be part of the symposium. Where this happens, it is advisable to avoid alcohol and focus on natural fruit juices. It would also be a nice idea to include lots of Greek food and drink, since the word symposium is Greek, but of course this is not required, and in fact cosmosymps should feature food and drink from all over the world to denote the cosmopolitan nature of the events.
